The SymbIoT project had the opportunity to present its objectives and the results of its ongoing work in the context of the 1st Regional Workshop of the European Project INNOSETA.
The event was organized on Monday December 16th 2019 by AGENSO, partner of both INNOSETA and SymbIoT projects, in collaboration with the Institute for Bio-Economy and Agro-technology (iBO) and the Agricultural University of Athens at the premises of the Agricultural Cooperative of Pella at Giannitsa, Northern Greece. The workshop was attended by producers from the cooperative and the wider area, agronomists, as well as members of academic and research organizations.
Savvas Rogotis, Project Coordinator and NEUROPUBLIC’s Project Manager, had the opportunity to talk in the Session “Precision spraying technologies in Greece” and present the SymbIoT project. Through his presentation titled “SymbIoT and precise application of crop protection products in orchards”, Mr. Rogotis presented the aims of the project, the main features of the technological solutions that the project develops as well as the way in which the project’s services are applied in vineyards of the Pegasus / & Grapes agricultural cooperative at Stimagka, Corinth.
